Lord PLEASE slow me down, or I miss Spbeer!

its really nice to be back on air! this is Keita from your favorite radio show on the planet, "Sushi, pancakes, and a pint of beer" over the thanksgiving break, Jack went to his first NHL game in colorado, Me and Chris were very busy being American at home. Seems like we had great thanksgiving this year. (Cowboys won!) I was at my friend's house at lakeside and had some alcohol. It was snowing that time and freakin cold. but for some reasons, I became really want to jump into the lake with naked and make people laugh. I didn't do it after all but I feel that was a right deicision. But at the same time, I regret.

Hockey sounds fun sports to me (even though I don't know how it spells). I'm wondering if there is any position like "fighter" beside FW or DF. Chris suggested me to play Hockey with him, but I don't know if thats gonna happen. I have been to ice-skating long time ago, but I was about to sprain my ankle 5 secends after I started.

I freaking love this clip. Noel Gallagher from Oasis answering some questions for Japanese TV

Cat has nine lives, I dont... But I DO have Spbeer!

Now its the most exciting time of a week again, sushi, Panakes and a pint of beer. I am your Sushi boy telling you whats going on in the studio while we are on the air with some grammatical and spell mistakes.

Yesterday I was at a pub drinking with my friend from KIA (Kumquat International Assosiation), and he asked me like "So... Sushi, what kind of sushi exactly are you?"
Then I was like "... well... Kumquat...I'm definitely not squid" Thanks giving is a perfect time to ask those questions to your family!

All of us were so excited to watch TCU NEWS NOW. Like I wrote here couple weeks ago, Elisa came to the studio and interviewed us. It is FINALY on the air. You might be able to see it on Youtube.com someday, but it is currently on TCU NEWS channel so dont forget to see our stupid faces. (Big Beer dude was too big to be in a frame, so you cant see his face though...)

Pancake is such a great guy. He ALWAYS comes up with random thoughts and entertains us. Today he looked at the internet and found out that today is Indian Pudding day!
Have a great time if your celebrating it while listning to SPBeer! -Keita

Ahead of one's time?

Hey KTCU listeners. It's Foley from the Metal Effect blogging live from the studio. We just got through playing some old school Megadeth from the late 80's. Its weird. I play these songs and they still seems new to me even though they're 20 years old. The term "ahead of it's time" get thrown around a lot, so much so that its basically lost its meaning. I normally try not use it, but I'm going to right now.

Megadeth is a band that was ahead of their time. If you don't believe me go check out their older albums like "Rust in Peace" or "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" Both are metal classics from the 80's. But they deal with subject matter that still rings true today. Is it one of those history repeats itself kind of things or is the apocalyptic world that Dave Mustaine talks about in his lyrics actually coming to be? I'll let you guys decide.

In the words of Dave Mustaine from Megadeth's debut album "rattle your *** **** head"

First Guest

Hey there KTCU listeners, its Drew from KTCU Unplugged!!!! I know that you are all very excited about our first guest, I know that I am. We will have Taylor Enze in studio in just under 30 minutes. I have to be honest, I am pumped. Tay and I have been friends since freshman year and he is one of the best guitar players I know. It should be fun. He will not actually be playing any songs today (he is feeling a little under the weather), but he will be hanging out with Jon and I. If you have any suggestions for the show, or you just want to email me the address is ktcuunplugged@yahoo.com.

I hope to hear from all of you sooner than later.

Drew

p.s. GO FROGS!!

Love could tear us apart... BUT don't forget SPBeer!

oh.. what a fantastic night! we are playing the best music from all over the world! I feel like I am eating wonderful cuisines from each country in one night... Thats right, we want you to feel in that way!
Tastes much better than any cuisines, we are "Sushi, Pancakes, and a pint of beer!"
I'm your sushi boy writing my weekly diary to let you know whats going on in the studio while we are on the air! Oops dont forget my grammatical and spell mistakes. Pancake has been looking for a perfect syrup for him on eHarmony.com!
As for beer dude, he has been trying to be less bubly, so that beautiful girls dont burp so many times.

As you know, we welcomed The Frontier Brothers last Sunday and intervied. Also they played acoustic version of their songs. Funny thing was one of the Frontier brothers had a pack of pickel in his pocket ALL THE TIME! I seriously thought that was one of the American cultures and wondered I should carry one sometimes!

Its good to know other cultures. Respect and love each other! Peace -Keita

Kicking off another weekend..

7:06 AM here in Fort Worth.. and I am glad once again to be kicking off another weekend on The Choice..

So I'm definitely excited about going to see "American Gangster" tonight. I've been patiently waiting and trying not to watch the previews (and thus get anxious about it) ever since I saw the first one back in August.. when Bourne Ultimatum was out.

I'm pretty sure that Denzel is good in just about every movie he does. This isn't just a generalization of a fan here... it's fact. Not only is he in good films, he gets paid handsomely for them too. Let's take a look on IMDB:

Salary
American Gangster (2007) $20,000,000
Man on Fire (2004) 20,000,000
Out of Time (2003/I) $20,000,000
Training Day (2001) $12,000,000
The Hurricane (1999) $10,000,000
Courage Under Fire (1996) $10,000,000

It's no real surprise that Denzel is good at what he does. Did you know he has one of the most symmetrical faces in Hollywood? Check it out:

and now, with help from the ever powerful photo-editing tool, MSPaint:

Okay, so the split face thing isn't the most flattering image of Denzel, but can we agree that we'd recognize the guy if all we had to go on was the bottom photo?

Let's try it with another Hollywood type. How about Jennifer Garner?

Now, with the split-face technique:

What does this prove?

Not sure, really.... other than this advice:

If you get a facelift, don't opt to have half of your face copied and pasted to the other side.

Yep.
